In every dark corner’s shadow, every moonless, starless night, every moment of blackness, evil waits.  Only four teenagers know it’s there.

SCHON, JASON, RANDY and NIKKI didn’t know fifteen years ago, a scientist had lured an evil presence to his home in an attempt to capture it.  Children had died then.  Children are dying now.  The four know the deaths will continue as long as it roams free.  But how do you stop THE BLACK when it is bent on killing you, adults either don’t believe you or wish you dead, and information is difficult to come by?
